Nelson BC Hand Therapy
Hand therapy is a specialized area of rehabilitation focused on the assessment and treatment of conditions affecting the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow. Injury or disease in your hands can severely affect your ability to work and play! If you have a hand, wrist, or elbow injury, you should consider seeking treatment with a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).
KHS is home to one of the most highly credentialed upper extremity specialists in the Kootenays, offering comprehensive clinical care supported by advanced tools and technology.
What is a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)?
A CHT has completed a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, 4,000 hours of treatment of hand-related injuries, and has devoted months of study and advanced training in order to pass the international CHT examination. The CHT credential offers the public assurance that the therapist has achieved the highest international recognition to treat upper extremity injuries.
At Kootenay Health Services, we are proud to have a highly qualified Certified Hand Therapist on our team: Craig Sully, BScPT, FCAMPT, CGIMS, CHT.
