NSA Refund Policies
Please review the specific refund deadlines for your program below.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Nelson Soccer Association administration at admin@nelsonsoccer.ca.
Recreational (House) Programs
Includes: Mini (U4-U6), Youth House (U7-U18), and Adult Skills Programs.
- Prior to Season Start (1 Week Out): Full refunds will be approved if requested at least one week prior to the first scheduled session.
- Season Start – Second Session: Refunds will be subject to a $35.00 administration fee.
- After Second Session: No refunds will be issued. The Board will only consider refunds after this time in exceptional circumstances.
Rep Program (Selects)
Includes: U10–U18 Development and Rep Teams.
Administration Fee: After the registration deadline (January 1st), all refunds are subject to a $35.00 administration fee.
Refund Schedule:
- Start of Indoor Practice (+/- 2 weeks): 90% Refund (minus $35 fee).
- Before First Outdoor Practice: 85% Refund (minus $35 fee).
- Before Third Week of Outdoor Practice: 75% Refund (minus $35 fee).
- Until June 1st: 50% Refund (minus $35 fee).
- After June 1st: No refunds will be given.
Clothing & Fees:
- Insurance: Mandatory BC Soccer insurance fees are non-refundable after the first scheduled session.
- Rep Jackets: Non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
- Game Jerseys: Can be exchanged for a larger size at the start of the season if in clean, re-usable condition.
- New Clothing: Can only be refunded/exchanged if unworn with tags attached.
Adult Leagues
Includes: Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Masters, and Co-ed Leagues.
- Before Draft Night: Refunds are subject to a $35.00 administration fee. (Draft night is typically 10 days before the season starts).
- After Draft Night: No refunds will be issued. The Board will only consider refunds after this time in exceptional circumstances.
