Baldface Lodge

Completed in December 2021, the Baldface Office Headquarters project was an extensive commercial renovation designed to support the head office operations of the Baldface Catskiing Lodge. The comprehensive build transformed a client-owned building into a highly functional and modern facility, featuring an updated warehouse, a new lodge staff work area, a 2,100-square-foot office, and a 450-square-foot retail space. To support these varied uses—which also included a commercial kitchen—the project required significant structural upgrades, including the rebuilding of existing floor and wall structures alongside fully updated mechanical and electrical systems.

A defining feature of this renovation was the complete transformation of the building’s exterior and interior, highlighted by a major structural change from a flat roof to a new gable roof design. Significant glazing upgrades were also implemented, flooding the wood-accented interior with natural light. Beyond the main building, NMC managed critical site improvements, including the rebuilding of the adjacent parking structure and assisting with utility and sidewalk upgrades. Navigating several scope enhancements, the construction management team successfully delivered the revitalized headquarters with a final project value of $1,780,000.
