Criminal Record Check (CRC)<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Mandatory for all volunteers aged 19+. Valid for 3 years.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/justice.gov.bc.ca\/eCRC\/home.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BC Justice eCRC Portal<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Enter Access Code: <strong>AYF8YCE34G<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select &#8220;Request a New Criminal Record Check&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>Verify the organization is &#8220;Nelson Soccer Association&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>*If fingerprints are requested, visit the NSA office for a volunteer release letter to waive the police station fees.<\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>2. Respect in Sport<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Mandatory BC Soccer requirement. Takes approx. 2.5 hours. Valid for 5 years.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/bcsoccercoach.respectgroupinc.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Respect in Sport Portal<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Select &#8220;New to this Program&#8221; and register.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Critical Step:<\/strong> You MUST select &#8220;Nelson Soccer Association&#8221; under the district &#8220;Kootenay Rockies Youth Soccer Association&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>Use Pre-Registration Code: <strong>NSA-Z8C4N9G<\/strong> (This makes the course free).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>Already certified? Email your certificate number to the office.<\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>3. NCCP Online Modules<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Required for all coaches. Takes approx. 3.5 hours total. Valid for 3 years.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Access these through your <a href=\"https:\/\/thelocker.coach.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NCCP Locker Account<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NCCP Make Ethical Decisions<\/li>\n<li>NCCP Making Headway in Soccer (Concussion)<\/li>\n<li>NCCP Emergency Action Plan<\/li>\n<li>NCCP Rule of Two<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>4. Grassroots Clinics (Theory &amp; Practical)<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Step 1: Online Theory (Complete by April 1st)<\/strong><br \/>\nLog in to your <a href=\"https:\/\/canadasoccer.smarteru.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canada Soccer SmarterU Account<\/a>. Ensure you select &#8220;Nelson Soccer Association&#8221; as your club.
