Your community needs leaders on the sidelines. Our Recreational and Mini programs are entirely volunteer-driven, and we are always looking for parents and community members to step up. You do not need to be a soccer expert to make a difference. Sign up while registering your child or email admin [LINK] to apply.
Why Coach?
- No Experience Required: We value enthusiasm over expertise. If you can high-five and encourage a child, you are qualified.
- Full Support: NSA provides free Coaches Clinics and access to professional guidance from our Technical Staff to help you run sessions confidently.
- Connect: It is the best way to be involved in your child’s development and meet other families in the community.
Opportunities
- Recreation (House) Coach: Perfect for parents! No experience needed. We provide the lesson plans and support; you provide the energy.
- Nelsons Selects (Rep) Coach: For experienced coaches looking to lead our competitive U11-U18 squads. Certification support is provided.
- Junior Impact Coach Program: The Junior Impact Coach program is designed for players aged 14–18 who want to give back to the sport while earning volunteer hours or school credit. Junior coaches are paired with a Senior Coach in our Mini or U7/U8 programs to assist with drills, demonstrate skills, and act as role models for our youngest players. [LINK] for more information
- Academy & Technical Staff: Professional coaching roles working directly with our Technical Director.
Refereeing
The best seat in the house.
We are actively recruiting referees for the upcoming Indoor and Outdoor seasons. This is an excellent opportunity for youth (12+) and adults to earn income, stay fit, and learn the laws of the game.
Grade 10-12 students can get credits towards graduation by becoming a referee. See link for more information.
